The word of mouth publicity by her satisfied clients has greatly contributed to the popularity of the name “Lbas” to spread far and wide, with newer outstation clients choosing to visit and place orders. With different themes and concepts few of designer sarees were launched in the past under different brand names.

Ms. Sudha, as a promising entrepreneur had also attracted media’s attention, with an interview published in the press media (Eenadu Daily), and in the “Sphurthy Deepthi” program on ETV2 Channel.

Previous Brand Launches

In the year 2009 under the brand name PADMOTTARA designer sarees on Kalankari
theme was released. The name Padmottara was chosen to depict its meaning “delicate submission” and thus chose soft and mild natural colors. The Saress with unstitched blouses was exhibited at Libas’ own store and had a very good response with 90% inventory cleared within 3 days
of the exhibition.

In the year 2011, under the brand name MADANIKA with ethnic theme, heavy borders, multi-color dyed and with contrast blouses was launched to cover upper-middle class segment.

MADANIKA a mythological character displaying stylized feminine features. Keeping this in mind style in ethnic theme was worked out and it was a smashing hit among Libas customer circles.

Libas believes in innovative ideas to promote its business. It is now planned to make a foray into the readymade blouse segment, with a concept of “Max-match Blouses” a concept of readymade blouses that provide instant matching for the ladies on the fast track and for those who cannot wait for the tailor to deliver, or are otherwise in a hurry to wear a befitting dress for a party or other occasion

These “Max-match Blouses” are  aptly proposed for the ladies on the fast track and Blouses will be so designed that they can be made to readily fit. The colors and designs offered will be so selected as to provide a closest match for one or more sarees.

The designs would be so attractive that it may force the customers to even grab the “Max-match Blouses” one they like at the first instance and subsequently look for a suitable saree from the market!

Libas keeps changing and going with the trend and with their own concepts keeping in mind the fast changing needs of the fairer sex.
